Rick Vanderburg
Gary Hayes
Rick Vanderburg - Senior Minister

Rick and Gayla, his wife of 32 years, have served Covenant Church faithfully for 20 years.  As the Setman at Covenant, Rick's passion is to see the Kingdom of God established in the earth, specifically in the hearts and lives of God's people.  It is his desire to see all of God's children flourish in their relationship with Him and to see them planted in a local church where they can be both ministered to and used as ministers to those around them. As a father of four (Jenny, 29; Kristi, 25; Lindsay, 22 Chad. 19), Rick's paternal heart shines through his leadership. His ministry history includes two years as associate pastor at Sherwood Forrest Free Will Baptist Church in El Sobrante, California; seven years as the Youth Pastor of Noble Free Will Baptist Church; and two years as the Associate Pastor of Norman Free Will Baptist Church.  He holds a B.S. degree in Bible and Missions from California Christian College in Fresno California.
